The ability to merge with your pet allows you to gain their stats while gaining the pet bonus yourself, such as “Sic ‘Em!” which will grant you 25% more damage to burst down your enemies as long as you are merged. If you min/ max, stat infusions can be found with both agony and wvw bonuses.
